Watch me demonstrate how I hand-build two different styles of mugs from textured slabs of clay (round bottoms vs. the flat bottoms). Special attention is paid to refining rims and add feet, creating texture using various tools, and adding volume to forms. There is also a demonstration of creating and attaching handles, including several different ways that you can differentiate your handles, and make your pots stand out.
